Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at The City Hotel. The location is great since it's near metro stations, making it easy to get around Istanbul. However, the breakfast left much to be desired, and I was disappointed with the overall facilities and room condition.
I had a mixed experience at The City Hotel. While it was conveniently located and the staff, especially the manager and housekeeping, were incredibly helpful, I was really disappointed by the cleanliness and breakfast options. The facilities felt outdated, which didn't match a four-star expectation at all.
My stay at The City Hotel in Istanbul had its ups and downs. The hotel's location is convenient for accessing transport, but the area felt a bit run-down and sketchy at night. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially Melek at the front desk, who helped with room issues. However, the room itself left much to be desired with cleanliness issues and inadequate amenities. Overall, it wasn't the worst experience, but I wouldn't rate it as a true 4-star hotel.
I found my stay at The City Hotel quite disappointing overall. The location was convenient because it was close to the Yenikapi metro station, but the surrounding area felt unsafe, especially at night with many unsavory characters around. The staff were friendly and helpful, which was a bright spot, but the small and outdated room, combined with the poor breakfast options, left much to be desired.
I had a mixed experience at The City Hotel. On one hand, the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Melek at reception. On the other hand, the rooms were smaller than I expected, and some facilities were lacking. The location was decent for transport access but not so great in terms of the surrounding area.
